Adam Pearcey was born on June 12th, 1991 in St. John’s, NL. Adam is the youngest son of program director Randy Pearcey, and brother of Xtreme Hockey staff member Andrew Pearcey.

Adam played minor hockey in the Avalon Celtics system. While Adam’s hockey credentials are not as vast as most of the X Hockey team, his ability to teach makes him excel at his craft. Adam graduated from Gonzaga High School in 2009, and has completed two years of general studies courses at Memorial University with a focus on education and psychology.

Adam has worked with the youngest X Hockey players for the past 9 years, and is well-liked by everyone around the rink. Adam’s patience is second-to-none, and is one of the major reasons why the X Hockey beginner and Novice programs continue to grow.

The youngest Pearcey also works at the Capital Hyundai Arena doing ice rentals and driving the Zamboni. He has completed his Cimco Refrigeration course, and has also completed his CPR course.

In his free time, Adam likes to cheer on the Montreal Canadians (NHL) and the St. John’s Ice Caps (AHL). Adam also loves to play rec hockey, travel, and ride his cycling bike all over the province.
