Callie Langmead was born in St. John’s on January 28th, 1995. Callie is the daughter of legendary senior hockey goaltender Blair Langmead, and sister to X Hockey goaltending instructor Josh Langmead.

While being an X Hockey player, Callie played minor hockey in the Northeast Minor Hockey system, and the St. John’s Caps female system. In her senior year of high school, Callie was recruited by the Balmoral Hall Blazers (JWHL) and played one season with the team.

Langmead returned home to Newfoundland after her tenure in Manitoba to pursue a post secondary degree in biochemistry. Callie has aspirations of finishing her undergrad at Memorial, and getting into Medical School.

In her spare time, Callie loves to work with young hockey players of all ages. Callie has coached, evaluated and helped select teams for the Northeast Minor Hockey program, and has been a staff member at Xtreme for the past five years. Callie currently plays, as well as helps out, with the Xtreme women’s hockey league (XWHL) on Sunday evenings.
