Lorne Walsh grew up on Newfoundland’s Burin Peninsula. Lorne has been a member of the Xtreme Hockey team for many years, and much like Scott Knight, has made a big impact on the program. Lorne has been involved with Xtreme as an on-ice instructor, league co-ordinator, and travel team coach since joining the staff.

Lorne resides in St. John’s with his wife, and three hockey-playing children; George (born in 2001), Claudia (born in 2002) and Charles (born in 2004). Lorne loves to play recreational hockey, but his competitive nature is brought out as a coach. Lorne is a Hockey Canada-certified bench boss, and has coached in the public hockey system at the AAA, A, and house league levels in the past.
